My working career spans many years, with a wide range of experience and knowledge within a variety of roles, namely: Starting as a junior with the National Australia Bank, sorting cheques, to an office manager and relieving branch manager. This includes experience with management, security and human resource issues. Combined with extensive knowledge of consumer and commercial lending practices. Three years with CSIRO Marine Research, on contract, in three different roles. This included purchasing, credit card management, accounts payable, journals, MS Excel uploads, budgets, quotes, asset management and stock takes. Successful completion of a tax season with H&R Block as an income tax consultant. This role involved assisting small business and personal clients compile tax returns for electronic submission. I worked with ASM Australian Security Monitoring Pty Ltd as an accounts and payroll officer. Duties included accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments by EFT, payroll, account reconciliation and data entry to MYOB. For a year ended February 2006, I worked with Access Solutions (Tasmania) Pty Ltd as Office Manager. Duties include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, purchasing, and inventory control, payments by EFT, office logistics/planning, credit card reconciliation and loan/account reconciliation. Other duties included preparation of superannuation payments and BAS returns. I supervised two other staff; I provided assistance of a financial, programming and purchasing nature to field staff. I assisted with sales and client enquiries both of a verbal and written nature. I regularly liaised with company accountants together with service providers. My roles included provision of information, reports, and advise to management. My role also extended to OH&S, staff training and employee contracts. For five months ended February 2007 I worked with CD Anywhere Pty Ltd as administration manager. Duties include accounts payable, payroll, payments by EFT, credit card reconciliation and lease/account reconciliation. Other duties included preparation of superannuation payments, payroll tax and BAS returns. I supervised three other staff; I provided assistance of a financial nature to 18 sales staff. I regularly liaised with company accountants together with service providers. My roles included provision of information, reports, and advise to management. My role also extended to OH&S, staff training and employee contracts. I supervised rollout and changeover to Exonet accounting system. I also set up financial, Payroll, BAS and fund transfers for NZ arm of company. For a period of around 8 months I worked with Sabre Marine and General Engineering Pty Ltd on contract to convert costing process from ABM to MYOB. I continue to undertake TAFE tutoring, freelance book keeping and administration. This also includes data entry using MYOB or QuickBooks.
